Congratulations to City of Waycross Police Chief Anthony (Tony) Tanner for being named the "Outstanding Chief of the Year" by your peers in the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police.
You have implemented many programs in Waycross GA to try to help, including community oriented policing, handicap parking enforcement, a CRT team, and a bicycle division.
Your efforts have not gone without notice and we thank you.
Now...... if we could only get the citizens to behave?
